The inspiration behind these cups were the blue skies. The inside of the cups has a glossy white glaze while the outside wall is an overlap of a textured white and a blue glaze. There are light speckles on the outer body of the cups which adds a different dimension to it.
These cups were made with white stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe and dishwasher-safe. The cups haven't been tested for microwave-safety. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
