The inspiration behind these tumblers were the blue skies. The inside of the tumblers has a glossy white glaze while the outside wall is an overlap of a textured white glaze under an icy blue glaze. There are light speckles on the outer body of the tumblers.
These tumblers were made with white stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe and dishwasher-safe. The tumblers haven't been tested for microwave-safety so exercise caution. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and soft sponge.
