This vase was glazed with a single glaze - splashed and poured all around the top part of the vase, giving it the metallic sheen in places, while also highlighting the absolute beauty of the dark brown clay.
The vase were made with black stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
