These stunning, wheelthrown, cups feature deep, multi-tonal glazes that transition from forest green to shimmering teal, accented by crystals in some parts. The lower portion reveals the raw, light-colored clay body, creating a grounded, minimalist aesthetic that highlights the organic beauty of the material. The glazing is done in a way that no 2 cups look exactly the same but still a part of the whole set. These cups are a reminder of the Northern Lights.
These cups were made with buff stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
