These stunning, wheel-thrown small plates feature deep, multi-tonal glazes that transition from forest green to shimmering teal, accented by crystals in some parts. The glazing is done in a way that no 2 plates look exactly the same but still a part of the whole set. The rim of the plates are fluted, the grooves of which the glazes break beautifully in. The carved rim gives a tactile experience.
These plates were made with buff stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
