Jar (Cylinder) - Blue and White w/ Black Pattern

This jar is characterized by its wide, cylindrical silhouette and a high-domed lid topped with a classic rounded knob. The glaze design is a sophisticated tri-tonal composition. A solid, deep charcoal pattern provides a grounding contrast to a luminous, textured white midsection. The upper portion and lid are finished in a beautiful, variegated navy blue that shows delicate movement and depth.

The jar were made with white stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe and dishwasher-safe. The jar hasn't been tested for microwave-safety so exercise caution. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
