The jar has a short, wide silhouette, offering a grounded and substantial feel. The raw, dark clay body is softened by an organic wash of white glaze, making it a sophisticated addition to a minimalist kitchen or a moody, modern bookshelf. The jar were made with black stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe and dishwasher-safe. The jar hasn't been tested for microwave-safety so exercise caution. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
