This rounded wheelthrown jar with a dramatic bi-tonal glaze brings grace to any space that it occupies. The dark brown, grounded base is balanced by a luminous upper section that catches the light with a subtle metallic sheen. Ideal as a decorative focal point or a refined vessel for small essentials.
The jar were made with black stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe and dishwasher-safe. The jar hasn't been tested for microwave-safety so exercise caution. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
