This lidded jar features a stout, cylindrical body that widens slightly at the shoulder, paired with a low-profile lid and a sturdy, flared knob. The black floral patterns worked with the textured glaze for a weathered look. The sturdy handle serves as a great spoon-holder. Use it as a statement piece or for your kitchen/dining table.
The jar were made with white stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe and dishwasher-safe. The jar hasn't been tested for microwave-safety so exercise caution. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
