These wheel-thrown tea cups are designed to encourage you to cradle the warmth directly in your palms. This handle-free cup features a minimalist, ergonomic form designed to fit comfortably in the hand. The smooth, glossy glaze highlights the refined form of the cup, while the contrasting, unglazed clay foot adds a grounded, artisanal detail that reveals the raw beauty of the material.
These bowls were made with white stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe. While these are dishwasher-safe, they have not been tested for microwave-safety, hence, exercise caution. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
