This tea set offers a harmonious blend of organic form and textured finish, perfect for a mindful tea experience. The handleless cup, wheel-thrown, features a gentle, rounded silhouette that fits perfectly in the palm, encouraging a mindful, tactile connection to the warmth of your tea. The accompanying rectangular platter, handbuilt, presents a unique, elongated, and slightly curved design, with one end elegantly turned up to create a modern, sculptural aesthetic. The set is finished in a mesmerizing, deep emerald-green glaze. The surface displays a rich, mottled texture with subtle variations in tone and depth that character to each piece, highlighting the artisanal quality of the ceramics.

Use the platter to serve a cookie or two, or to place the spoon for stirring the tea inside the cup, or tea bag.

These tea cups and saucers were made with buff stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe. Not tested for microwave safety. Even though they are dishwasher-safe, handwash is highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
