The inspiration behind these tea cups & saucers were the blue skies. The inside of the set has a glossy white glaze while the outside wall is an overlap of a textured white glaze under an icy blue glaze.
These tea cups and saucers were made with black stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe. These mugs are not safe to be used in a dishwasher and a microwave. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
