Coated with a transparent glaze, it helps in retaining the natural colour of the black clay of the doughnut. A simple Worli art pattern is painted with a white slip to provide the perfect contrast with the black clay.
This wall hanging was made with black stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
