Each cup features a classic, sturdy cylindrical silhouette that provides a comfortable and secure grip. The balanced proportions and thoughtfully placed handles are crafted for everyday utility, blending functional design with an artisanal feel.
These cups are defined by a striking two-tone finish. The lower section is left in the raw, natural matte finish of the clay, while the upper portion of the cups are dipped in 2 glazes - a yellow ochre glaze, followed by a dark brown glaze. This contrast highlights the beauty of the material and ensures that each piece has its own unique character.
These cups were made with buff stoneware clay on the pottery wheel and were fired to 1,200 degrees centigrade in an oxidation atmosphere. The glaze is food-safe. Not tested for microwave safety so, please exercise caution. Handwash highly recommended with a mild detergent and a soft sponge.
